France or India??

Which country do you prefer between France and India?

That’s a question that it often asked to me. In those moments, I try to compare my French life with the life here. I saw quickly that those two countries are not comparables. Indian culture is very different from the Occidental culture. To see it, it’s easy: just go on the street and look around you.

- Traffic is very different. But have you see any accident?
- Clothes are different, but ours, are they better?
- Life is less expensive but we can’t eat everything we want.
- Women status is worse here, but people are very welcoming, inquiring, and help you; in France not so much.
- India is less boring than France. Etc…

So, for me, the best way to answer to this question is to don’t answer to it. France and India have both positive and negative things. What is a good thing in France may don't be one here and vice versa.

So take a step back, forget your French bearings. It’s the best way to integrate you in this country, enjoy it and to realize successfully the projects that you will do.
